A Bit About Us

Established in 1989, Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity (BCAHFH) has made an indelible mark on the community. The means for doing this is through construction of various types and partnering with low to medium income families. All of our efforts have the goal of providing safe and affordable homeownership to committed and qualified families in our community that are in need.

Another component is the wheelchair ramp program. This program allows families to stay in their home even though they have become reliant on a wheelchair or walker for mobility.

The final component is volunteerism. We could not do what we do without volunteers. We offer corporate, group, and individual daily opportunities as well as long-term opportunities.
