Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.  Proceeds are used to support our efforts to provide safe and affordable housing throughout Calhoun County. If you are getting new stuff, please donate your old stuff to the ReStore. To schedule a pick up use the form at the bottom of the page.

Our Business partnerships help make our work at Habitat possible, and we offer partnership opportunities for business’s wishing to donate overstock materials and participate in recurring donation programs. We have coordinated donations from nationwide and local restaurant chains, hotels, hardware’s and builders going.

Donate to the ReStore

We accept:

APPLIANCES
Clean, and Working condition.

CABINETS & COUNTER TOPS
We accept both kitchen and bathroom cabinets in sets or individual pieces. Must have no structural or water damage. All must be complete containing all doors and drawers.

DOORS & WINDOWS
Interior, Exterior, Pre-hung or slabs, Storm doors (must have all tracking)
Excluding sliding or patio doors
Vinyl Double Pane Windows

PLUMBING ITEMS
Stainless steel and porcelain kitchen sinks
Pedestal and drop-in bathroom sinks, Toilets (must be Clean)
Faucets [must be brand new, in package]

FURNITURE
Chairs, Tables, Dining room sets, Dressers, Sofas, Bookshelves,
Bed frames (Complete), Patio Furniture, Lift Chairs

FLOORING
Hardwood, Laminate, Ceramic Tile (must be new and in original packaging)

HARDWARE
Please put similar items in baggies or clear plastic containers and label them.

LUMBER
All lumber must be free of nails and screws minimum 8ft in length

MISCELLANEOUS
Window AC units
Hand and power tools (in good working condition)
Stone pavers
Books (no encyclopedias or magazines)
Christmas/Seasonal decor


Please be aware we do not accept the following items
Baby Cribs, Car Seats, High Chairs, and Pack & Plays
Box springs and Mattresses, Hospital Beds
Entertainment Centers, Executive Size Desks
Dishwashers, Water Heaters, Water Softener, Built In Ovens, Cooktops.
Double Sink Vanity Tops, Kitchen Counters with Sink Holes, and Faucets.
LIGHTING: Lamps, Indoor, Outdoor lighting. Ceiling Fans, Florescent Fixtures, Canned and Track lights
Aluminum Storm Windows, Single Pane Windows, Wood Windows
Hazardous Chemicals, Alcohol, Gas Cans
Clothing, Bedding, Window Treatments
Electronics
Exercise equipment, Road Side Basket Ball Hoops, Bike & Motorcycle Helmets
Luggage
Paint
Pianos and Organs

All Donated Items must be clean and in useable condition, Staff may refuse.
